Privacy Policy
Algomaly · Last updated: 8 July 2026
1. Who we are
Algomaly ("we", "us") is an AI automation consultancy operated by Arch Sharma. This policy covers (a) the algomaly.com website and (b) Algomaly Channel Automation, an internal software tool described below. Contact: arch@algomaly.com.
2. Website visitors
The algomaly.com website does not require accounts, does not collect personal information from visitors, and does not use advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may record standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and reliability purposes.
3. Algomaly Channel Automation (API client)
Algomaly Channel Automation is a private, single-user, server-side tool used exclusively by the owner of Algomaly to manage our own YouTube channel ("AlgomalyAI"). It is not distributed, sold, or made available to any other person. It has no public interface and serves no third-party users.
This tool uses YouTube API Services. By interacting with our YouTube channel, viewers are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. What data the tool accesses
- Our own channel data only. The tool uploads original videos created by us to our own channel and retrieves performance analytics (views, watch time, traffic sources, engagement) for our own channel via the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API.
- No viewer or third-party data. The tool does not access, collect, or process personal information about YouTube viewers, subscribers, commenters, or any account other than our own.
5. How data is stored, used, and shared
- Analytics summaries for our own channel are compiled into reports delivered by email solely to the channel owner.
- Authorized Google account credentials (OAuth tokens) are stored securely on our private server and used only to perform the functions above.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer any Google user data to third parties. Data is never used for advertising purposes.
- Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
6. Data retention and revocation
Stored data is limited to our own channel's content and reports and is retained only as long as operationally useful. Google account access granted to the tool can be reviewed and revoked at any time via Google security settings.
7. Client work
Where Algomaly builds automation systems for consulting clients, data handling is governed by the individual agreements with those clients. Those systems are separate from, and not covered by, the API client described in this policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
